Wild Yoga Journey on the River
Yoga + Raft + Soul Journey with Rebecca Wildbear on the Green River through Desolation Canyon
A river soul journey that combines yoga, dreamwork, conversations with the more-than-human world, deep imagination, and a weeklong raft journey through Desolation Canyon.
Soul yearns to feel the rhythm of the river’s song. The river calls us to listen, be present, and let go. Wild Yoga is an alignment of Earth and soul, an immersion in sacred ceremony and deep listening.
What will stir your imagination while living in the river consciousness? What will be sparked by its endless but varied music, its constant flow? Water begins underground, as did we in our mothers’ watery wombs. The river follows the natural call of gravity: over, under, and around. What natural call of gravity moves you?
On this 6-day journey, you will awaken your wild animal body and live within the deep intelligence of the river. Earth is always dreaming and inviting us to dive into our own dream stream. You’ll be invited to enter the underworld river of your own life and open to non-ordinary ways of perceiving, to immerse yourself in the presence and wisdom of the river, and surrender into the heart of your own way of belonging to the world.

Rebecca Wildbear, creator of Wild Yoga, is a soul guide who supports individuals as they discover and manifest their truest gifts. She guides others in opening their sensory bodies, engaging their dreamworld, and accessing their deep imagination. She also leads programs with Animas Valley Institute and is on the faculty at Nosara Yoga Institute. Rebecca compassionately assists people in listening to the mysteries that live within their own bodies and within the animate natural world.
Our guides create river recipes into “to die for” meals. Dutch-oven lasagna, blueberry pancakes, chicken caesar wraps, loaded burritos, fresh salmon or steak, brownies and more. You will be hungry! Oh yeah, and we do the dishes. We can accommodate food allergies or dietary needs with advance notice.
You will bring your own tent and sleeping bag/pad or you can rent from Holiday River Expeditions. A complete list of required and recommended gear is available on the trip webpage.
